David R. Segal was
appointed to the Selective Service Board by President Obama. He also serves as
a senior advisor to the Army for the gender integration of combat occupations
and combat units, and advises the Department of Defense Sexual Assault
Prevention and Response Office. He has recently worked with the White House on
military spouse employment issues, and has been a consultant to the Department
of Justice and the Central Intelligence Agency on diversity matters.
Meredith Kleykamp is a member of the Scholars Strategy Network, a network of leading scholars with a commitment to addressing pressing public challenges at the national, state, and local levels. She has served as a member of the Institute of Medicine’s Committee on the Readjustment Needs of Service Members, Veterans and their Families. The completed committee report was released in March 2013. She spoke to the Department of Labor's Symposium on Women Veteran’s Employment: Skills Matter in August 2013, and delivered the keynote address at the Iowa Statewide Military and Veterans Conference in September 2013.
